To feed our hunger stomach

For saving us from Starvation
You are our Hero, the Saviour
You have been risking all your life
For your people, for your motherland
It was us who never realize it
Thanks for keeping us feeding so far
You are our unsung Hero, the forgotten Saviour
Wake up comrades, the youths of Manipur
You forgot to respect our Hero
You forgot to acknowledge him so long
Swallow your pride, praise him now at least,
Work like our Hero, sacrifice like our SaviourWake up my fellows, people of Manipur
You forgot to salute our Hero,

O Brave Truck Driver, you are our Real Hero, the Saviour[Note: This poem is dedicated to our Brave Truck Drivers who have been ferrying essential commodities and life saving drugs on both the National Highways NH39 & NH53 of Manipur, amidst hostile environment, risking their own life in the process. We usually forgot their contribution to the land and people so far, and have never been acknowledged. I strongly feel that it is time we raise them as HERO, for the undettered & selfless duty with minimal pay to feed their poor family. Their sacrifice needs to be praised and recognized.
